Are EA servers down? Electronic Arts outage stops gamers playing Fifa or Battlefield

Players robbed of the ability to shoot strangers in the head or score goals against them on a virtual field.

The games firm EA has been hit by an outage which has stopped gamers from playing Battlefield and FIFA.
Jobless British gamers were robbed of the chance to enjoy a morning of carefree play when the outage began at about 8.30am.

In a tweet, the games firm wrote: “EA is currently experiencing an outage.
“EA games, services & support may be impacted. We’re working to resolve as fast as possible.”
Gamers were raging about the outage and likened EA to “a s***”.
One man raged: “Why you guys don’t give up! Please admit that your platform is a s***and try to learn from Steam.”
Another roared: “I have never seen a big company that is so incompetent with their servers.”
